The kind of day where the light never fully arrives. It just emanates. I settled into the old blue chair, watching the lagoon at low tide—barely a ripple, just the occasional shift of colour as the clouds moved overhead. The air felt thick, like the day was holding its breath, and everything seemed to slow down. 

Perfect weather for getting lost in a book… or just sitting still and letting the quiet do all the talking.
